The Evaluation Process:
Initial Intake
You will contact via online message to & receive a call back or call us directly. During this initial call we will collect information to determine the type of immigration evaluation best suited for your case, review payment options, and schedule your one-on-one interview.
One-on-One Interview
Your one-on-one interview will take place via video conferencing, so you can remain in the comfort of your home.
The interview will consist of evidence based methods to collect family and case history, including, but not limited to, mental health status and information that supports hardship.
We will also conduct psychometric testing to support evidence of hardship and mental health impact.
We evaluate applicants for potential symptoms of mental disorders, referencing the DSM-5 Manual when applicable, and provide a detailed account of these symptoms in your report.
*It is important to note that a formal mental health diagnosis is not required by immigration court judges or USCIS officials for the approval of an immigration hardship waiver.*
We strive to emphasize the personal narratives of the individuals and families we assess, in order to offer a comprehensive description of the hardship’s severity and the psychological impact on all involved to best support your case through clinical evidence and data.
Evaluation Reporting
Your evaluation draft will be submitted to you and your lawyer between 2-3 weeks after the completion of your full interview & completion of remaining payment balances.
Should draft revisions be requested, that is covered under your original fee.
Additionally, expedited draft evaluations are possible for an additional charge with a 1 week turnaround.

FAQ
-
Immigration evaluations are psychological assessments conducted by licensed clinicians to support individuals navigating their immigration process.
These evaluations play a vital role in detailing the applicant's mental health condition, highlighting any trauma they have endured, and addressing the long-term psychological effects associated with their immigration status.
-
In most cases, immigration evaluations are essentially the same. The terms "mental health evaluation" and "psychological evaluation" are often used interchangeably because both assess an individual’s mental health, and sometimes "psychological" is used to emphasize this aspect.
The key difference is that psychological evaluations can incorporate additional testing tools if needed and may also be used to apply for a naturalization waiver.
However, both mental health and psychological evaluations are suitable for the waivers and petitions typically required in immigration proceedings.
-
The cost of a hardship evaluation varies based on several factors. These include the number of individuals being interviewed, the timeframe for completing the report, and the complexity of any required testing.
Additional service details should also be considered, particularly when evaluating the cost range of immigration psychological evaluations and the specific types of assessments the client and their immigration attorney may need.
